We learned about adding and equations in class this week by rolling two dice and colouring a box  with the sum, then writing down the equation we made with the dice.

In science we're learning about forces that push and pull. We learned about how a bat hitting a ball pushes the ball forward and how we use pulling as a force to pull vegetables out of the ground.

"Bag Up Manitoba" 2015!

In conjunction with Take Pride Winnipeg!, École Robert Browning will be participating in the annual Bag Up Manitoba plastic bag roundup challenge starting on October 1 and will run until October 30, 2015.

The goal: to inspire students, staff and the community to do more to reduce their waste and consider reusing, recycling and remanufacturing options.

How to participate: please collect as many plastic bags as you can and bring them to school for recycling.

Here’s a handy list of what can be recycled:

Grocery Bags                        Bread Bags          Case Over-wrap          Dry Cleaning Bags

Newspaper Sleeves               Ice Bags                 Pellet Bags               Ziploc and other reclosable food bags

Produce Bags                       Bubble Wrap        Salt Bags                      Cereal Bags

Please Note: We ask that you ensure all bags are clean and empty without food or receipts inside. And, all bags are turned inside out.

There will be two containers (main level and upper level) set up in the school. Thanks for your support!
